OutTake: Building a company’s brand and brand equity.
Situation – The founders of Condor Engineering had built a solid business, but were at the point where they were looking for an “exit strategy” in five years. Based on Condor’s type of business, acquisition was the only viable option, and the pool of companies that would be willing to acquire them was small.
Action – Copernio developed and implemented a five-year public relations and marketing communications plan designed to increase sales (resulting in a higher selling price) and raise Condor’s awareness among the companies in a position to acquire them.
Result – Condor received consistent coverage in their targeted publications and coverage in the business publications. In the fifth year of the program, Condor Engineering was acquired by GE Fanuc.
